Kennedy Sutherland Announces New Cyber Security and Data Governance Venture

Throughout this blog series, we have reported on the legislative efforts, policy shifts, and news updates occurring in the field to provide you with the information and tools that your organization may need or could utilize in its efforts to best operate.

As we pursue that mission, it is incredibly exciting to announce that Kennedy Sutherland LLP has acquired the Association for Data and Cyber Governance (“ADCG”). ADCG is primarily a membership-based resource provider for individuals interested in building and maintaining their data and cyber governance knowledge. Members of ADCG receive a weekly newsletter and podcast outlining an in-depth analysis of breaking cyber security and data governance-related news, a library of recorded webinars to educate and train the employees and executives of your organization, and live conferences and seminars to allow you to learn from some of the greatest speakers in the industry and connect with other industry professionals. Notably, ADCG offers a Data Privacy and Protection Specialist Certificate Course complete with a workshop that enable participants to establish a data privacy and protection function within a sample organization and, upon completion of the exam, become part of ADCG’s Certificate Holder Network for certified industry leaders.

March 3, 2022, ADCG will be hosting a Data and Cyber Governance Conference, which is open to the public. This event will feature seminar discussions by some of the greatest minds in cyber security regarding the industry’s most recent laws, threats, and technologies. Registration for this conference will be open soon!

Kennedy Sutherland LLP is excited about this new venture and looks forward to sharing resources and opportunities like this with you in the future.
