On October 4, 2022, the Texas PACE Authority (“TX-PACE”) announced that the Dallas County Commissioners Court unanimously approved a motion to establish a county-wide Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program. As such, all businesses and nonprofits operating out of Dallas County, Texas are eligible to access financing for energy and water saving improvements to their properties through the program.

On September 29, 2022, the Texas PACE Authority released a T5 Webinar announcing an updated Program Guide containing “substantial changes.”

Texas Property Assessed Clean Energy ("PACE") financing is a tool for property owners that provides long term, low-cost funding for water and energy efficiency upgrades to existing buildings. By using PACE financing, property owners can lower their operating costs with savings to pay for permanent improvements aimed at decreasing water or energy consumption.
